Drupal Association Launches Ripple Makers Membership Program
The Drupal Association has announced significant changes to its Individual Membership program, now rebranded as Ripple Makers, aiming to enhance communication, transparency, and community engagement. This transformation is part of the Association’s effort to foster deeper connections with its members and recognize the crucial contributions of sustaining donors.
Ripple Makers is a revamped initiative designed to create a more inclusive and communicative environment for sustaining donors. The Drupal Association, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization incorporated in the United States, ensures that donations to Ripple Makers are tax-deductible where applicable.
The organization primarily raises funds through event registration, sponsorships, the Drupal Certified Partner program, grants, and individual contributions without any directives from a for-profit parent corporation. The Drupal Association's mission remains steadfast: to keep Drupal free for all users.

The announcement highlights Drupal's broader impact beyond career opportunities. Drupal’s open-source values promote innovation, collaboration, and global creation, earning it recognition as a Digital Public Good. The platform plays a crucial role in preserving the integrity of the internet and driving change through its community-driven approach.
At the core of Ripple Makers is the goal to build a culture of belonging where every donor feels valued and empowered. The revamped program encourages members to make monthly donations to support the Drupal Association, celebrating the vibrant Drupal community and the open-source ecosystem that sustains it.
