Mark Conroy Introduces LocalGov KeyNav: Keyboard Navigation for LocalGov Drupal
Mark Conroy shared a blog post on creating a module for keyboard navigation in LocalGov Drupal websites. Sponsored by Big Blue Door, Mark developed the "LocalGov KeyNav" module, which is now available on GitHub. This module allows users to navigate the site using keyboard shortcuts.
For example, typing "lgd" followed by specific keys can take users to different pages: "ac" for the content listing page, "ap" for the people listing page, "acdf" for the directory facets page, "t2" and "t8" for items in the toolbar menu, "nasp" for the "Add service page" form, and "naslp" for the "Add service landing page" form. The module is flexible and can have more sequences added as needed.
