Wim Leers has provided an update on the progress of the Drupal Experience Builder (XB) project ahead of the Driesnote at DrupalCon Barcelona 2024. With only two weeks left, 15 high-priority issues remain to be resolved, focusing on improving drag-and-drop functionality, end-to-end test coverage, and usability fixes.

Notable contributions include Bálint Kléri's enhancement of drag-and-drop placement and Ben Mullins' work on integrating single-value field types with Redux for live updates. Jesse Baker coordinated multiple usability fixes, while Feliksas Mazeikis landed key back-end improvements for the Single Directory Components (SDCs). Despite making significant progress, the team will need to address more than two issues per day to meet their target.
