Acquia to Host Webinar on Code Components in Drupal Canvas
A webinar titled “Code Your Way: Enterprise Grade Code Components in Drupal Canvas” is scheduled for 10 March 2026 at 15:00 UTC. The session will feature Tim Lehnen, chief technology officer at the Drupal Association, and Bálint Kléri, technical lead on the Drupal Applications Team at Acquia.
The webinar will focus on Drupal Canvas Code Components, a development approach that allows frontend interfaces to be built using JavaScript frameworks such as React along with utility-first styling tools like Tailwind CSS. The session will examine how these components integrate with Drupal to support modern frontend workflows.
Drupal Canvas includes a browser-based code editor designed to allow developers to begin building frontend components without local setup. According to the webinar description, the session will also demonstrate how developers can move from this in-browser environment to a local React development setup with full tooling support.
The agenda outlines two main topics: using Code Components to connect Drupal with the broader JavaScript ecosystem, and configuring a local React codebase that synchronises with Drupal Canvas projects. The session is aimed at developers exploring frontend workflows that combine Drupal with modern JavaScript tooling.
Registration and additional event details are available on the Acquia webinar page.
