Call for Speakers Now Open for Drupal Mountain Camp 2025
Drupal Mountain Camp 2025 has officially opened its call for speakers, inviting professionals from across the web development community to contribute their expertise at the event, which will take place in the scenic surroundings of Switzerland from March 11 to 13, 2025. Speakers are encouraged to submit talks that share insights, experiences, and innovative solutions in the fields of web development, design, project management, and community building.
The event will feature seven diverse tracks aimed at different aspects of the open web. These include Frontend, focusing on modern JavaScript frameworks like React and Vue.js; Backend, covering technologies such as Drupal, Symfony, and PHP; Processes & Tools, for those interested in team collaboration using Agile, Scrum, and other methodologies; and User Experience, Content & Design, which emphasizes accessibility, usability, and information architecture. Other tracks include Showcase/Case Studies, which highlights real-world Drupal implementations; People & Culture, addressing topics like team dynamics, diversity, and mental health; and Innovation & Beyond Drupal, exploring cutting-edge technologies such as AI and open-source innovation.
Speakers selected for the event will receive one free ticket, regardless of the number of co-speakers, and are invited to a special speaker dinner. With only three parallel tracks available during the event, the selection process is competitive, and organizers encourage a wide variety of session formats, including workshops and panels, to foster dynamic discussions.
Proposals must be submitted by December 15, 2024, at 23:59 (Europe/Zurich), giving potential speakers ample time to refine their ideas. Drupal Mountain Camp offers an excellent platform for contributors to showcase their work, network with professionals, and engage with the broader Drupal community. For more information and to submit a session, interested parties are encouraged to visit the official Drupal Mountain Camp website or contact the organizers via email at [email protected].
