Jay Callicot Announces Major Changes to DrupalXS
Jay Callicot has recently announced key updates to DrupalXS (Standard) aimed at streamlining integration with its decoupled counterpart, DrupalXD (Decoupled). The changes, highlighted in Jay’s latest video update, include adopting the Paragraphs module and implementing Tailwind CSS to standardize configuration and styling across both DrupalXS and DrupalXD.
Moving to Paragraphs enables content and configuration sharing, significantly lowering maintenance requirements across the two versions. Tailwind CSS, with its utility-first design, minimizes custom CSS needs, delivering highly optimized output and improved browser caching efficiency.
Notably, DrupalX’s anonymous homepage now serves CSS under 10KB, underscoring the platform’s commitment to lightweight, production-ready optimization. These enhancements reflect a broader effort to create a cohesive, streamlined experience across the DrupalX framework. Read the full post and watch the video here.
