Rapid UI Prototyping with Vercel’s v0.dev at Florida DrupalCamp 2025

Florida DrupalCamp 2025, which will take place from February 21 to 23 at Florida Technical College in Orlando, FL, will feature the session “Rapid Prototyping with Vercel’s v0.dev,” which is scheduled for February 23 from 10:00 to 10:45 AM. The session, part of the Theming, Design, & Usability track, will provide attendees with insights into leveraging AI to accelerate UI development.

Vercel’s v0 is an AI-powered generative UI tool that allows developers to create React components from simple text prompts styled with Tailwind CSS and Shadcn UI. The session will introduce the tool's capabilities and its integration with modern web technologies. A live demonstration will showcase how to quickly build UI components from text inputs, emphasizing speed and efficiency. Attendees will also gain practical tips for using v0 effectively in development workflows, covering prompt engineering and seamless integration into existing projects. Case studies will illustrate how teams have successfully utilized v0 to enhance development speed and cross-functional collaboration.

Mark Shropshire, Senior Director of Development at Mediacurrent, will lead the session. Based in Concord, NC, Mark is dedicated to mentoring teams and empowering leaders to deliver high-quality open-source projects. His expertise in leadership and digital solutions makes him well-suited to guide attendees in harnessing Vercel’s v0 for rapid prototyping.

Participants, including developers, designers, and project managers, will walk away with actionable strategies to streamline their prototyping processes and foster collaboration between design and development teams.
