Texas Drupal Community Seeks Direct Contact with Members, Moves Away from Meetup

Texas Drupal event organizers are shifting away from Meetup as their primary communication platform and are collecting contact information to keep Drupalers in Texas informed about upcoming events. The initiative, led by TxDUG (Texas Drupal Users Group) and organizers like JD Leonard, aims to create a more direct and independent communication channel for event announcements.

Drupal enthusiasts across Texas can choose their preferred regions for event updates by providing their email addresses through a newly launched form. Organizers emphasize that this effort ensures members stay informed without relying on third-party platforms.

For more details and to sign up, visit TxDUG’s official form.

Note: The vision of this web portal is to help promote news and stories around the Drupal community and promote and celebrate the people and organizations in the community. We strive to create and distribute our content based on these content policy. If you see any omission/variation on this please reach out to us at #thedroptimes channel on Drupal Slack and we will try to address the issue as best we can.
