James Abrahams to Keynote on AI in Drupal CMS at Developer Days 2025

James Abrahams will deliver a keynote session titled "AI is the New UI – How We Are Building AI into Drupal CMS" at Drupal Developer Days 2025, scheduled for April 15–18 at the KULeuven Technology Campus in Leuven, Belgium. The session will focus on how AI is becoming central to the Drupal CMS experience, particularly through the introduction of AI Agents launched in January 2025. These agents operate on an abstraction layer that gives users control over their data and providers, allowing both developers and non-technical users to build intelligent, accessible, and user-friendly websites.

James will cover how AI Agents are shaping accessibility, user experience, and development within Drupal CMS. The session will also address opportunities for developers to extend AI functionality in custom modules, responsible AI use, current capabilities beyond Drupal CMS using the AI module, and future directions for AI in the platform. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions during a concluding Q&A segment.
