In a recent blog post, digital agency Zoocha shared insights from DrupalCon Atlanta, offering a snapshot of the Drupal community’s evolving roadmap. The author, Hannah McDermott, Director, Delivery at Zoocha, was attending her first North American DrupalCon. She reports on major themes shaping the platform's future, including the push for better marketing, innovation in AI, and the release of Drupal CMS.
The post highlights Drupal CMS 1.0, launched in January 2025, as a ready-to-use version of Drupal focused on ease of setup. Looking ahead, Drupal CMS 2.0 will introduce a desktop installer, UX improvements, and support for multilingual content. Zoocha also spotlighted the upcoming Experience Builder, AI-powered tools for content editors, and the introduction of Site Templates aimed at reducing time to launch.
Zoocha praised the collaborative progress being made and emphasised how these developments align with Drupal’s three-year strategy to become the leading no-code CMS.
