Stable Release of Kameleoon A/B Testing Module for Drupal Announced
Antonín Slejška, PHP Developer at WERTGARANTIE Group, announced the release of the first stable version of the Kameleoon module for Drupal. The module brings powerful A/B testing capabilities directly to Drupal sites, making it easier for marketing and development teams to optimize without touching the core code.
Initially started by Bálint Kléri, Antonín Slejška took over the maintainership and developed the current version. The module is not officially endorsed by Kameleoon but is supported by the community for expanding access to its optimization tools.
Kameleoon allows users to create page variations by modifying content, themes, and layouts. It supports running multiple simulation tests simultaneously, audience segmentation, and detailed test analytics. Other features include CSS editing, browser testing, and mockup sharing.
Users must sign up with Kameleoon and retrieve a project sitecode from the "Technical" and "Sites" sections to activate the module. It is compatible with Drupal versions 10 and 11 and is covered by the Drupal Security Team’s advisory policy.
Five sites are already using the Kameleoon module, with backing from organizations like WERTGARANTIE Bike GmbH.
