Suraj Kika Announces AgentEx: Search Integration with LocalGov Drupal

Suraj Kika, CEO of Jadu, has announced the launch of AgentEx: Search for LocalGov Drupal, introducing an AI-powered upgrade to standard site search for local councils. The tool is designed to help residents quickly find services and answers using natural language queries, without relying on traditional chatbots or complex integrations.

AgentEx: Search enhances the existing search box on council websites by delivering direct, task-focused responses based on the site’s own content. It supports over 70 languages and meets WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility standards. Unlike external AI tools, it does not scrape third-party data or generate speculative answers, but instead reads structured site data to return accurate, branded responses.

The solution aligns with LocalGov Drupal’s priorities of accessibility, reuse, and cost-efficiency. It requires minimal technical setup and no manual tagging or AI training, making it suitable for councils with limited resources. Its launch comes at a time when many councils are navigating local government reorganisation and increasing website complexity.

AgentEx: Search is intended to simplify online access to services such as bin collection schedules, school applications, and local support. It aims to reduce pressure on contact centres while improving user experience.
