DrupalSouth 2026 Splash Awards Opens Submissions for Wellington Event
Submissions for the DrupalSouth 2026 Splash Awards are now open, with entries closing on Friday, 27 March 2026, ahead of the Wellington conference scheduled from 12 May to 14 May.
The awards recognise outstanding Drupal projects from Australia and New Zealand that were completed or significantly updated in 2025. Submissions must be for live, in-use websites or projects expected to remain online for at least one year after the ceremony.
According to the published rules, there is no submission fee for 2026. Judging panel members remain confidential until voting concludes, and any judge with a conflict of interest within a category is excluded from voting in that category. Organisations that directly sponsor the award ceremony are not permitted to submit entries.
Entries may be submitted across multiple categories, but each shortlisted project is eligible to win only one category award, with the possibility of also receiving Best in Show. Categories may be adjusted or removed if fewer than four submissions are received.
The Splash Awards will be presented during DrupalSouth Wellington 2026, with Contribution Day hosted at 93E Cuba Street in Te Aro and the main conference at the Harbourside Function Venue.
Full rules and submission details are available on the official Splash Awards page.
