Jacob Singh to Headline Fireside Chat on AI and the Future of Work at Drupal Camp Delhi 2026
Artificial intelligence and automation are reshaping how modern organisations operate, raising new questions about the skills and roles that remain uniquely human in technology-driven workplaces. These themes will be explored in a featured fireside chat titled “AI, Automation, and the Future of Work – What Changes (and What Doesn’t)” to be delivered by Jacob Singh.
The session is one of the two headline presentations scheduled for Drupal Camp Delhi 2026. The other featured session is a keynote titled “Is There a Future in Drupal AI?” by James (Jamie) Jackson Abrahams, Director at FreelyGive Ltd.
Jacob Singh, founder of SingOneSong and previously CTO at Blinkit and Managing Director of Acquia India, has worked across technology innovation, product development, and organisational transformation. His fireside chat will examine how automation is influencing the structure of digital roles and the expectations placed on technology professionals.
The discussion is expected to address several themes related to the future of work, including how automation is reshaping technology careers, the skills becoming more important in AI-driven environments, and the aspects of collaboration, creativity, and decision-making that remain difficult to automate.
Organisers say the conversation will also explore how individuals and organisations can adapt to rapid technological change, balancing the opportunities created by AI-powered tools with the continuing importance of human judgement and teamwork.
According to the published event schedule, the fireside chat is planned for 11:45 AM to 12:30 PM on the first day of the camp.
Drupal Camp Delhi 2026 will take place from 14 to 15 March 2026 at Jawaharlal Nehru University in Delhi. The two-day community event will include technical sessions, workshops, an Acquia certification exam, and a Drupal contribution day.
The programme includes sessions across several tracks such as Drupal CMS and development, UX and accessibility, DevOps and performance, community health, agency leadership, and emerging technologies including artificial intelligence.
Registration for Drupal Camp Delhi 2026 is currently open. More information and the full schedule are available on the official Drupal Camp Delhi website. The DropTimes is a media sponsor for the event.
