Drupal Scotland Names New Committee and Office Holders

Drupal Scotland has announced a new committee and a set of office holders following its recent annual general meeting, marking a leadership transition for the community group and the organisation behind DrupalCamp Scotland. The newly formed committee includes Aaron McHale, Andrea Kostakis, Bryan Gullan, Gareth Alexander, Rachel Findlay and Stratos Filalithis. At its first meeting after the AGM, the committee elected Bryan Gullan as chair, Rachel Findlay as treasurer, Stratos Filalithis as secretary and Aaron McHale as camp lead.

The creation of the camp lead role is a structural change introduced by the new committee as part of plans to develop new arrangements for how DrupalCamp Scotland is organised. Drupal Scotland said further details about the next camp will be shared in due course.

The announcement also recognised the contributions of outgoing committee members Duncan Davidson and Rob Carr. According to Drupal Scotland, both were founding members of the group and had served on the committee for the past 15 years. They were also involved in organising every DrupalCamp Scotland since the community began.

Drupal Scotland thanked Davidson and Carr for their long-standing commitment to the community and noted that although they are stepping down from committee roles, they are expected to remain involved in future camps and community events.

With Bryan Gullan, Rachel Findlay, Stratos Filalithis and Aaron McHale now serving as office holders, and with Andrea Kostakis and Gareth Alexander also joining the committee, the organisation has completed its latest leadership transition following the Annaul General Meeting.
