DrupalCon Orlando 2027 Opens Volunteer Applications for Marketing and Photography Roles

Community members can apply for the first volunteer roles listed for DrupalCon Orlando 2027, with applications for the Marketing & Outreach Committee and Photographer roles closing on 5 August 2026. The conference is scheduled for 22–25 March 2027 in Orlando, Florida.

The Drupal Association lists the roles as early ways to support conference visibility and event documentation before the conference. Both current roles opened on 1 July 2026, close on 5 August 2026, and list volunteer notification for 10 August 2026.

The Marketing & Outreach Committee will work on audience outreach, email and social media messaging, and event communications under the DrupalCon brand standards. The role includes copywriting, design, social media, and communications work, with an estimated commitment of 40–50 hours between August 2026 and April 2027, including onsite work at DrupalCon Orlando 2027.

The Photographer role will provide event photos from a shot list prepared by the Marketing & Outreach Committee. The listing estimates about ten hours onsite at DrupalCon, with shifts scheduled by the event manager. Both current roles list one complimentary DrupalCon Orlando 2027 ticket for selected volunteers.

Ticket benefits vary by volunteer role, and the official page notes that not all positions include a free ticket.
