TDT August Open Townhall Scheduled for 19 August 2026

The August 2026 edition of The DropTimes Open Townhall will take place on 19 August 2026 at 15:30 UTC (21:00 IST). Tarun Udayaraj, head of community relations at The DropTimes, will host the online meeting. The discussion will cover TDT's ongoing work, upcoming editorial priorities, and opportunities for Drupal community members to contribute to future coverage.

The meeting is open to contributors, developers, agency representatives, organisers, marketers, and other community members interested in The DropTimes' work. Participants can raise questions, suggest story ideas, and discuss coverage of Drupal news, events, interviews, community activity, social media, and wider ecosystem developments. The session also provides a forum for feedback on TDT's editorial priorities and coverage.

The August meeting follows the July 2026 Town Hall, which drew 32 unique attendees and included discussion on editorial standards, outreach, open-source sustainability, technical initiatives, and community participation. The July session also considered ways to extend Drupal coverage and plans for a community Editorial Working Group. Follow-up work identified during the meeting included contacting subject experts, exploring student reporting at future events, and developing relationships with media outlets beyond the Drupal ecosystem.
