DevBranch Rebuilds Ark Safety Website on Drupal 10

Developers at DevBranch rebuilt Ark Safety’s e-commerce website on Drupal 10 while retaining the earlier site’s content structure, functions, and visual presentation. A case study on Drupal.org, published 10 July 2025, says differences between Drupal 7 and Drupal 10 required the agency to construct a new site instead of updating the existing codebase. Ark Safety is a U.S. supplier of safety equipment, fall-protection systems, and supply-chain products.

The team created new content types and entities, wrote custom migrations for the Drupal 7 content, and introduced a theme that reproduced the earlier site’s appearance. According to the case study, DevBranch also built custom modules for legacy functions and patched or replaced contributed modules without Drupal 10 support. These requirements made the migration a functional reconstruction rather than a direct version upgrade.

DevBranch connected the rebuilt site to Unleashed Software through a custom module and used scheduled cron tasks to automate related processes. The case study lists Drupal Commerce, Commerce Authorize.Net, Commerce UPS, Feeds, Group, Search API, and AdaptiveTheme among the projects used in the implementation. It does not provide performance, sales, conversion, or editorial-efficiency metrics for the rebuilt site.
