Mike Herchel

Mike Herchel whose Drupal username is mherchel is a front-end developer. He has been developing with Drupal for over 14 years. He is the primary organizer and lead developer for the Olivero initiative, which aims to create a new default front-end theme for Drupal core. Herchel is also the maintainer of the Drupal Quicklink module.

Mike Herchel who is from Gainesville, Florida is a primary organizer for Florida DrupalCamp. Mike Herchel works as a senior front-end developer for AVB Digital, where he's working on a project to migrate SBA.gov to Drupal 9.

Mike Herchel at one point in time worked for Lullabot and his areas of expertise are in front-end development, accessibility, and web performance. Herchel was elected for the post of ‘At Large Drupal Board Member’  and was one of the four new members to join the Drupal Association Board.
