Drupal & Firebase: Real-time Config & Content for Android & iOS Apps

In this session, we will demonstrate the integration of Drupal with Firebase to enable real-time remote management of iOS and Android applications in production. We will explore an existing production app built with Flutter and showcase how Firebase’s Firestore DB and Remote Config can be seamlessly accessed and managed via Drupal. This approach empowers non-technical users to control app content, appearance, and configurations without the need for redeployment. By leveraging Firebase’s robust tools through Drupal, authorised users gain a powerful interface for managing live apps, streamlining updates and reducing the need for developer intervention.
