Two Suppliers, One Team: A case study on a collaborative Drupal project

When two agencies collaborate on a single Drupal project, the journey they go on is as much about teamwork and communication as it is about code. In this session, we’ll share how PNX and Folk worked together on a complex Drupal project for Catholic Schools NSW.

Each agency played a key role in different phases of the project, across discovery and design, development, and ongoing support, and supported the other to ensure a holistic and best-practice approach to website design and delivery.

We’ll also outline the benefits clients experience in this model - how diverse experience, expertise, and perspectives on project teams result in a robust solution that not only looks great but delivers the optimal user experience, creates value for customers, and is easy to manage and maintain in the long term.

Join Griff from PreviousNext and Jo from Folk as we explore the evolving roles of the ‘relationship holder’ and subcontractor, the project processes that kept us on track and the lessons learned along the way.

By the end of this talk, you’ll have heard how collaborative models:
- Drive client success and set the stage for more efficient, rewarding Drupal projects.
- Provide diverse expertise, fresh perspectives and specialised skills.
- Mix and match overlapping competencies in order to deliver more robust solutions.
- Balance workloads and reduce risk.
