JOB DESCRIPTION

  • 10+ years of overall IT experience with a strong focus on Front-End development
  • 6+ years of specialized experience in Drupal CMS and Drupal Administration
  • Expert-level experience in Drupal theming using the Twig template engine
  • Advanced front-end development skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
  • Proven experience with asset and theme configuration using YAML and libraries management, including CSS/JS management through .libraries.yml files 

Secondary (Good to Have)

  • Experience collaborating with backend Drupal developers and UX/UI design teams
  • Familiarity with modern responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility standards
  • Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for enterprise-scale Drupal websites

  • Seeking a Senior Drupal Front-End Developer for a critical digital transformation, build, and migration initiative
  • Hybrid work opportunity based in Phoenix, Arizona or Columbus, Ohio
  • Part of the core Digital Engineering team
  • Focused on developing, modernizing, and scaling the presentation layer of enterprise-grade applications
  • Ideal candidate should be capable of bridging backend functionality with design requirements
  • Responsible for transforming complex requirements into responsive, accessible, and maintainable digital experiences 

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and modernize the presentation layer of enterprise Drupal websites
  • Focus extensively on custom Drupal theming and Twig template architecture
  • Configure and manage front-end assets (CSS/JS) using YAML configuration and .libraries.yml asset management
  • Collaborate closely with backend Drupal engineers and UX/Design teams
  • Build clean and maintainable component libraries aligned with visual design specifications
  • Ensure front-end code follows:
    • Drupal core theming standards
    • Accessibility guidelines
    • Performance best practices
  • Provide technical expertise throughout the migration lifecycle
  • Troubleshoot front-end layout and styling issues
  • Refactor legacy CSS and JavaScript code
  • Optimize client-side performance for enterprise applications
