Drupal Celebrates Twenty-one Years!
Twenty-one years ago on January 15th, Dries Buytaert made available his personal website software as Open Source calling it Drupal 1.0.0.

Though many have predicted the downfall of Drupal, this Content Management System turned Digital Experience Platform is one Free and Open Source Software that cannot be submerged or held down too long. Relentless in its capacity to innovate and evolve with changing times, Drupal can be what you want it to be in terms of the web application. Drupal has stayed relevant by being open to integration with new technology that kept coming along its development journey.

Twenty-one years later, Drupal is still vibrant and strong releasing version 10 soon.
How is Drupal able to stay ahead in the technology game?
First and foremost, Drupal handles a problem that people and organizations had decades back and will have in years to come too: Managing data and displaying content in a meaningful way to the user.
Secondly, being free and open-source, there is nothing that hinders its development.
Third and most importantly, a strong community that backs this software technology, contributing to its success in manifold ways.
