Splash Awards Germany & Austria 2025 Deadline Extended to August 22
The submission deadline for the Splash Awards Germany & Austria 2025 has been extended to August 22, ahead of the awards ceremony on October 15 at the Palais Wertheim in Vienna. For the first time, the event will take place in Austria, organized jointly by the German and Austrian Drupal communities as an official side event of DrupalCon Vienna. Recognizing outstanding digital projects built with Drupal, the Splash Awards are the largest of their kind in Europe, attracting over 100 participants annually.
Companies and agencies from Germany and Austria can submit their best Drupal-based projects, which will also be eligible for entry into the International Splash Awards 2025, returning after a six-year hiatus. A redesigned event website, developed by Bitmade Solutions GmbH and the volunteer organizing team, now serves as the central platform for information and submissions.
The 2025 edition introduces structural changes, including the integration of the Splash Awards into the DrupalCon Vienna schedule, replacing the separate Drupal Business Day. Attendees will have access to the full three-day conference and the awards ceremony, including the DrupalCon Vienna Community Party.
