TDT Townhall: Join Our Open Community Planning Meeting on 2025 November 05
The Drop Times (TDT) will host its November Townhall Meeting on November 5, 2025, at 8:00 PM IST (14:30 UTC), and—continuing our transparency initiative—we’re opening the meeting to anyone aligned with TDT’s mission to grow Drupal’s market share for a one-hour session.
With a full-time team of 18 (including 3 journalists), 16 alumni, and 95 contributors so far from across the globe, TDT functions as a distributed newsroom committed to covering the Drupal ecosystem. We operate with weekly department-specific meetings—content, social media, marketing and outreach, job and career curation, technology, and leadership—alongside a daily standup. Once a month, everyone gathers in a Townhall to review progress and set the course for the month ahead.
As a nonprofit, ad-free portal focused on all things Drupal, we publish interviews, organization news, tutorials, updates on new module releases, event coverage, jobs, and adoption statistics across industries. If you share that purpose, this Townhall is for you.
TDT was founded, as Anoop John shared on the Talking Drupal podcast,
“to really help celebrate Drupal, right within the community and also outside the community and use news as the medium to tell people how exciting it is to be part of this community.”
This Townhall is part of that open journey. Today, our mandate includes celebrating and covering other free and open-source projects—especially PHP-based ecosystems like Mautic and Symfony—while keeping Drupal at the heart of our focus.
