Visible Homes Drupal 10 Upgrade Adds Configurable Interface Controls

Drupal agency DevBranch upgraded the Visible Homes website from Drupal 8 to Drupal 10 through an intermediate move to Drupal 9. In a case study published 8 July 2025, the agency says the migration required custom-code adaptation as well as changes to contributed modules. After completing the version upgrade, the team also changed how site administrators configure parts of the interface.

DevBranch says it reworked tabs, accordions, buttons, sliders, and other interactive elements so administrators could manage more of their styling and configuration through Drupal rather than relying on fixed code. The project also added filters for property listings, custom blocks for presenting properties, and additional administration tools. The case study lists Paragraphs, Bootstrap Barrio Extras, Views Infinite Scroll, Conditional Fields, Upgrade Status, and Nice ImageField Widget among the modules and tools used.

The project also led to work on the Nice ImageField Widget contributed module. DevBranch says it brought an earlier Drupal 8 version up to Drupal 10 compatibility, improved the user interface, fixed bugs, and took over module maintenance. That contribution gives the case study a community-facing outcome beyond the Visible Homes implementation itself.
