I am a web developer from Palermo, Italy. I have 9 years of experience in web developing. In 2007 I gained a certificate as Programmer Web Oriented in Palermo. After working in Birmingham for ten months I moved to London in July 2010. Working in London has given me the honour to work with clients such as Propeller TV, Cambridge University, UK Trade and Investment, University of Dammam, MSF and Pearson.
I like to follow a project from the beginning to the end as it has given me the opportunity to gain experience in server configuration, back-end development, front-end development and theming. I usually work in a LAMP environment and I am a great fan of Drupal and other MVC frameworks such as Laravel and Symfony. I use HTML, CSS and javascript to build responsive websites managing CSS using compass. I have built different types of websites from large community websites to brochure sites in different fields such as government, educational, charity, digital agency and commerce. Working on large, heavy traffic sites has given me experience in building and configuring server clusters at companies such as Rack Space and Digital Ocean.
When I am not coding, I play football for a local team called Italia Wasteels FC. I do enjoy good music, latest concerts I have been at: Radiohead, Smashing Pumpkins, Roger Waters, Placebo and Ennio Morricone. I really love good movies, my favourites directors are Kubrick, Fellini and Antonioni.
