ICFOSS Partners with Zyxware for 'Back to Work Training for Women'
The International Centre for Free and Open Source Software (ICFOSS), an initiative for higher education, research, and development floated by an Indian state, Kerala, is hosting its 5th 'Back to Work training for Women' gender and technology program this March 2023. This 15-day residential program on "Software Development using Drupal" started on March 1 and will end on March 19, 2023. It focuses on software development using Drupal.
ICFOSS is partnering with Kerala Development and Innovation Strategic Council (K-DISC), Kerala Knowledge Economy Mission (KKEM), and Zyxware Technologies for the event organized at the ICFOSS campus in Sports Hub, Green Field Stadium, Karyavattom in the city of Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.
The program is reserved for women and is an initiative to empower many talented and ambitious women who remain outside the workforce due to marriage, motherhood, local constraints, family commitments, pursuing personal passions, etc.
The training program intends to provide women who have had career breaks due to personal commitments to restart their careers in various free software domains. During the training, participants will learn software development using Drupal as the primary development platform. Back-to-work is an intensive training in free software domains, and this time bringing you an opportunity to learn Drupal. The program aims at reviving the professional career of women.
