The Waterloo Region's Drupal Users' Group has announced its upcoming meetup on March 23, 2023, at 15:00 EDT. Hosted at the University Avenue West location in Waterloo, Canada, this exciting event will bring together Drupal enthusiasts from the area to explore the new and innovative features of this powerful content management system.

There are two topics & presenters for this meeting:

Entity Autocomplete

Presenter: Eric Bremner, University of Waterloo

Entity autocomplete is a great way to get content inserted from other content. In this discussion/demo, Eric Bremner will show various methods of using entity autocomplete, from basic to complex, even including views to filter content.

Playwright testing framework

Presenter: Andrew BerryLullabot

Playwright, a fork of Google's Puppeteer, is an updated framework for end-to-end testing with full support for all major browsers. It combines valuable features from frameworks like Cypress with a good interface for recording and replaying tests while being built on a solid foundation of WebDriver, similar to what Drupal's PHPUnit and Nightwatch tests use. Learn how to use Playwright to drive Drupal tests to catch regressions before they hit production.

Attendees can network and share ideas, learn from industry experts, and discover the latest advancements in the Drupal platform. Don't miss out on this remarkable opportunity to be a part of the Drupal community in the Waterloo Region.
