Lullabot, in collaboration with DubBot and Iowa's Department for the Blind, is hosting a webinar on Thursday, May 16, 2024, at 1:00 pm EDT. This event coincides with Global Accessibility Awareness Day and aims to shed light on common issues impacting individuals with disabilities.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their questions and join the discussion on strategies to enhance web accessibility. Topics to be covered include the importance of simplicity, effective accessibility testing with diverse user pools, and remediation concerns.

The webinar will feature distinguished presenters:
  • Connie Mendenhall: CIO of Iowa's Department for the Blind
  • Kerry Hicks: Assistant Director for Web Development and Web Accessibility at Providence College.
  • Penny Kronz: Vice President of client services at DubBot
  • Claire Ristow: Front-end developer at Lullabot, specializing in Drupal, Javascript, CSS, and Twig
  • Chris Albrecht: Back-end Drupal Developer turned Project Manager, with experience on projects for IBM, Syfy, and more
