Introducing Drupal Starshot Sessions: Enhancing the Drupal Experience
Dries Buytaert recently announced the launch of Drupal Starshot sessions, following his introduction of the project at DrupalCon Portland 2024. Drupal Starshot aims to enhance the Drupal experience by integrating popular features from the contributed project ecosystem into the default Drupal download. Building on initiatives like Recipes, Project Browser, and Automatic Updates, Starshot promises improved user experience right out of the box. The announcement received significant support, with hundreds pledging their involvement.
To facilitate participation, a series of interactive Zoom sessions have been scheduled, with recordings made available for those unable to attend live. The first session, focusing on participation, funding, and governance, is set for this Friday. The complete schedule is available on the Drupal Starshot page and the core calendar on the Drupal core news page. The sessions are designed to engage and mobilize the community, working collaboratively to ensure the success of Drupal Starshot.
