Trivandrum Drupal Community Gears Up for Monthly Meetup

The Trivandrum Drupal Users Group is set to hold its monthly meetup this Saturday, July 27th, from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM IST. The event will take place at Cafe Coffee Day in Kowdiar, offering an informal atmosphere for attendees to engage in lively discussions about Drupal and related topics.

In an effort to make the meetup more inclusive, this session will also feature an online video call, allowing remote participants to join the conversation. The online aspect was introduced thanks to the initiative of community member Muneeb. Participants can join the virtual meetup via this Google Meet link.

The lineup for this month's meetup includes a variety of intriguing sessions. Abdul Basheer from the Kerala Government's Information Kerala Mission (IKM) will present on how the organization is leveraging Drupal to build over 1000 panchayat (local government) websites. Anoop John from Zyxware will discuss the Drupal Starshot initiative, shedding light on the community's latest efforts and innovations.

Additionally, attendees will continue their conversations on participating in upcoming DrupalCon events in Europe and Singapore. Participants are encouraged to bring their laptops, as the meetup will also serve as an opportunity for members to assist each other in setting up local Drupal environments and delve deeper into the topics discussed.
