Dropsolid Joins Drupal 7 Extended Security Support Program
The Drupal Association has named Dropsolid as a partner in the Drupal 7 Extended Security Support Provider Program, which offers critical security services for organizations continuing to use Drupal 7 beyond its end-of-life (EOL) date of January 5, 2025. This partnership is part of the Association’s effort to ensure that users who are unable to migrate to newer Drupal versions can maintain secure and compliant websites.
Dropsolid will provide extended support through a team of enterprise Drupal specialists, allowing for continued development and security updates. Tim Doyle, CEO of the Drupal Association, noted,
“Dropsolid has been a tremendous supporter of Drupal and the Drupal Community, and we’re grateful that they’re including bona fide Drupal 7 support among their offerings.”
Dominique De Cooman, co-founder and co-CEO of Dropsolid, highlighted the company’s role as the only European firm selected for the program, despite having offices in both the U.S. and Europe.
“We are thrilled to qualify for the Drupal 7 Extended Security Support program. It’s part of our mission to give Drupal 7 the End of Life it deserves,”
said Dominique. More details on Dropsolid’s Drupal 7 Extended Support can be found here.
