Drupal Seeks Partner for New Design System in Experience Builder and Drupal CMS
Drupal is actively seeking a strategic partner to collaborate on the design and implementation of a new design system for its Experience Builder and Drupal CMS. With Drupal CMS set to launch with the Olivero theme, the project aims to build upon this by developing a comprehensive design system tailored to support the platform’s post-v1 integration with Experience Builder. This initiative will provide designers and front-end developers with adaptable tools, making it easier for organizations to align Drupal’s features with their branding and marketing needs.
The new design system will empower content marketers to efficiently create landing pages and campaigns while ensuring consistent brand integrity. To accommodate various expertise levels, Drupal is dividing the scope of work into two main areas: design and technical implementation. Interested partners may apply to handle either area or the complete lifecycle of the design system.
Applicants have until December 6 to submit proposals, and selected partners will be announced the week of December 16. A webinar for potential applicants is scheduled for the week of November 19, and further inquiries can be directed to the #starshot or #experience-builder channels on Slack. The project’s goal is to foster a modern, versatile design system that accelerates Drupal’s adoption as a preferred digital platform.
