Drupal CMS Set for January Launch, Key Features to Be Highlighted at DrupalCon Singapore
The Drupal Association has reiterated the upcoming launch date of 15 January 2025 for Drupal CMS, a new no-code package designed to streamline website creation for non-technical users. Built on the Drupal core, Drupal CMS is aimed at enabling marketers, content creators, and site builders to construct sites easily through their browsers without requiring developer assistance. DrupalCon Singapore 2024 will serve as a platform for an in-depth look at this significant release, offering attendees exclusive insights into its capabilities directly from Drupal founder Dries Buytaert.
Dries Buytaert and the Drupal Association leadership team will showcase key features of Drupal CMS during the event.
“The product strategy is for Drupal CMS to be the gold standard for no-code website building,”
said Dries.
“Our goal is to empower non-technical users like digital marketers, content creators, and site-builders to create exceptional digital experiences without requiring developers.”
This emphasis on accessibility marks a new direction for Drupal, enhancing its appeal to a broader audience within the digital space.
Running from 9-11 December 2024, DrupalCon Singapore will also host sessions, panels, and networking events, including a “Driesnote”, Contribution Day, Birds of a Feather sessions, and the Splash Awards. These events will provide a comprehensive view of current Drupal trends and a platform for Open Source professionals to connect and collaborate. Registration for the conference is available at the DrupalCon Singapore 2024 official website.
