Drupal Meetup Nara Set for Feb. 28, Featuring Talks on Digital Transformation and Career Shifts

Drupal Meetup Nara February: Exploring Digital Transformation and Career Shifts

NARA, Japan: The second Drupal Meetup Nara will take place Friday, Feb. 28, 2025, from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. at the Nara Convention Center, Conference Room 108 (Map). The event, aimed at professionals and aspiring talents exploring opportunities in digital experience/digital transformation (DX), will feature discussions on transitioning into the IT industry, particularly in DX and Drupal development.

The meetup’s highlight will be talks by Masami Suzuki and Misako Fukagawa, both from Genero Co., Ltd., who successfully transitioned into the DX field. Suzuki, an engineer balancing career and motherhood, will discuss the challenges and advantages of working in DX while raising children. Fukagawa, who moved into the DX field from an industry where paper-based work was the norm, will share insights on flexible work styles and the importance of embracing challenges.

The schedule includes a session on career paths in DX, followed by a discussion on personal experiences in the DX field, and a segment on Drupal industry trends. Attendees will also have time for questions and free discussion.

Participants can join in person (limited to 15 seats) or via Zoom (up to 30 attendees). The event is free of charge and co-hosted by the City of Nara, with support from Genero Co., Ltd. and DX Times as a media sponsor.

Interested individuals can register through the official application form available on the event page. After registration, a confirmation email will be sent. Attendees are encouraged to check their email settings to ensure receipt.

For more details, visit the event’s official page at DX Times. Any schedule changes or cancellations due to weather or transportation issues will be communicated via email and posted on the event website.
