Drupal CMS Integrates Tagify Module for Improved Content Management
The Tagify module is now an official part of Drupal CMS, offering a significant upgrade to its content management capabilities. Developed by David Galeano Barrado, this integration aims to improve the out-of-the-box experience for content creators and marketing teams by simplifying entity reference fields with an intuitive tag input component.
Tagify enhances usability by enabling modern tag styling, duplicate tag prevention, adaptive label management, and intuitive drag-and-sort functionality. It also supports single/multiple select listings, improved accessibility (A11Y), and enhanced autocomplete matching, ensuring a seamless and efficient tagging experience.
The module incorporates several submodules, including Tagify User List, Tagify Facets, Tagify Iconify Icons, and Tagify Icons, further expanding its customization options. It integrates seamlessly with the Gin theme ecosystem, Better Exposed Filters, and Facets module, making it a valuable addition for Drupal users focused on efficient content organization.
The latest stable release, 1.2.37, was published on March 18, 2025, introducing improvements in performance, bug fixes, and enhanced integration with Drupal’s existing features.
