Thijs Suijten to Open Drupal Developer Days 2025 with Keynote on Tech for Global Impact

Thijs Suijten, co-founder of Hack The Planet, will open Drupal Developer Days 2025 with a keynote titled "Innovating for Impact: A Developer's Role in Shaping the Future." The session, scheduled for April 15 at the KULeuven Technology Campus in Leuven, Belgium, will kick off the conference’s Code & Development track.

Thijs will spotlight how developers can use their skills to drive meaningful change. Drawing from projects like deploying smart camera traps to protect endangered wildlife and building open-source tools for global impact, he will challenge attendees to think beyond conventional coding and explore how their work can shape a better future.

Designed for a beginner-level audience, the 50-minute session will blend inspiration with practical insight at the intersection of technology and social good.

Drupal Developer Days runs from April 15 to 18, 2025, bringing the global Drupal community together for collaboration, learning, and innovation.
