Become a Volunteer at DrupalCon Nara 2025
DrupalCon is set to return to Asia in 2025 with a three-day conference in Nara, Japan, marking a significant moment for the region’s open-source community. Scheduled from November 17 to 19, the event will be hosted by Drupal Asia in collaboration with the Drupal Association and the Linux Australia Council.
The organising team has opened a call for volunteers from the global Drupal community. Roles range from planning sessions and managing registration to greeting guests and judging the Splash Awards. While complimentary tickets for all volunteers are not guaranteed, participants will receive discount codes for conference passes. Certain high-effort roles will include additional compensation, such as a free ticket to the volunteer appreciation drinks event.
Applicants will be selected based on suitability for available roles, and all volunteers will gain credit toward their companies' Certified Partner status. Participation also offers opportunities for professional networking, visibility in the Drupal community, and leadership development.
