Matthew Saunders to Speak on Digital Accessibility at GAAD 2025
Matthew Saunders, a digital strategy leader and advocate for neurodiversity, will speak at the University of Denver’s Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD) event on Thursday, May 15, 2025. Known for his work in AI, digital transformation, and inclusive design, Matthew brings extensive experience from the pharmaceutical, nonprofit, and tech sectors, including leading major digital initiatives at Pfizer.
GAAD is an annual event focused on raising awareness about digital accessibility and inclusion for people with disabilities. This year’s event will feature panels, breakout groups, and a keynote by Ben Meyerhoff, along with digital accessibility awards recognizing contributions from students, departments, and faculty. The event is open to both in-person and virtual attendees.
Matthew is scheduled to speak at 9:15 a.m., following opening remarks by ADA Coordinator Joshua Kaufman. A longtime mentor and public speaker, Matthew is widely recognized for using technology to drive access and equity in digital experiences.
