Marvin Parsons Advocates One-Week Headless Drupal Deployment

Marvin Parsons, developer and business owner, challenges Drupal practitioners to take a Drupal installation headless and begin seeing results within one week. Marvin argues that his Custom REST Content Builder module (under development) can decouple a Drupal site with just 13 files, including \.info.yml, \.module and \.services.yml, and start streaming content via API within days of code access.

A proof of concept built in ReactJS and TypeScript demonstrates dynamic home pages that load menus, product listings and custom taxonomies. Product detail pages present specifications, images and related items based on active product attributes and handle relationships in both directions. Service pages render content and SVG assets from vocabulary terms passed at runtime. Standard page and article content types managed in Drupal Core feed the About and Article pages on the front end.

Organizations seeking a rapid, lightweight headless Drupal solution can contact Marvin to develop a custom RCB extension. More information is available in the full LinkedIn post.
