Acquia Qualifies for Australia's IRAP Assessment
Acquia, a SAAS (software-as-a-service) based digital experience company, on November 15th, 2021, announced that they had completed Australia’s Infosec Registered Assessors Program (IRAP) assessment. They confirmed that Acquia Drupal Cloud had achieved “Official: Sensitive” government security status on selected deployments.
Steven Hayes, Acquia’s General Manager, Asia Pacific, and Japan, said that completing this assessment allows them to work closely with all Australian government agencies. They can help the agencies with website implementation and hosting while ensuring greater security.
A certified third-party organization conducted the IRAP assessment. This assessment ensures that the cloud services are secure with automated and comprehensive security control for authorized use by the Australian government.
Drupal Cloud is based on open-source Drupal and allows organizations to securely and quickly assemble and deploy digital experiences like portals, websites, microsites, and mobile apps.
The Australian government agencies can now deploy different versions of the Drupal cloud that match their requirements and leverage elasticity, scalability, data sharing, and secure and governed access to the entire network. They can also purchase Drupal cloud via the AWS marketplace providing substantial savings, reduced paperwork, and streamlined RFP process for agencies that already use AWS.
