Drupal AI Summit Paris 2026 Opens Call for Speakers

Organisers have opened the call for speakers for Drupal AI Summit Paris 2026, scheduled for 1 December 2026 at CNIT Forest in Paris as part of FOST Paris.

The call asks for case studies, tooling insights, and strategy sessions showing how Drupal can support AI-driven digital systems through open-source content architecture, APIs, and integration workflows. For the Drupal community, the summit offers a route to reach AI, API, and platform audiences beyond Drupal-specific events. Submissions close on 24 July 2026, according to the Drupal AI Summit Paris speaker form. The form does not give a closing time or timezone.

FOST Paris runs from 1 to 3 December 2026 and brings multiple specialist technology events under one pass. The FOST page lists Drupal AI Summit among 25 co-located events and says the Paris programme includes more than 300 sessions. Drupal.org also lists Drupal AI Summit Paris among the Drupal AI Initiative’s 2026 in-person events.

Accepted sessions will use a 20-minute talk format followed by five minutes of questions. Speakers will receive a complimentary conference pass, according to the form. They will also be asked to record their talk before or after the event for the Generation AI archive and Drupal AI promotion.

The call asks for talks that connect Drupal’s content modelling, API-first architecture, and contributed AI ecosystem with practical AI implementation. Suggested topics include Drupal AI ecosystem components, content automation, human-in-the-loop workflows, knowledge graphs, APIs for agents and chat interfaces, AI provider integrations, governance, bias, provenance, and enterprise case studies involving search, personalisation, or knowledge assistants. The form says product pitches are not sought.

The summit is framed for an audience that understands or is curious about AI and APIs but may not yet understand Drupal, or may hold outdated assumptions about the platform. Speakers are asked to keep comparisons with other systems respectful and constructive. The emphasis is on technical and strategic lessons from implementation work rather than platform advocacy.

The 2025 Drupal AI Summit in Paris drew more than 120 participants, according to a recap by 1xINTERNET. The recap said 1xINTERNET arranged the event on four weeks’ notice. The 2026 call says this year’s effort is launching earlier, with a stronger focus on increasing attendance and reaching end-user organisations and prospective adopters.
