Pacific Northwest Drupal Summit Opens 2026 Call for Speakers
Session proposals are open for the 2026 Pacific Northwest Drupal Summit, according to the summit's call for speakers page, with submissions due by 31 July 2026 for the regional Drupal camp in Vancouver, British Columbia.
The summit is scheduled for 17–18 October 2026 at the BCIT Tech Collider on the British Columbia Institute of Technology’s Downtown Campus. The Drupal.org community event listing describes the summit as a confirmed, in-person camp.
The call seeks sessions on Drupal, open-source software, and digital content management. Suggested topics include AI, privacy, security, data sovereignty, open-source contributions, workflow automation, visual design, content strategy, measurement, and analytics.
Organisers are considering presentations, interactive discussions, panels, hands-on workshops, and training sessions. General sessions are 45 minutes, and speakers are encouraged to reserve part of that time for questions and answers.
The page says sessions should share knowledge and support the community rather than promote products or services. It also says the summit will have time outside sessions for a keynote, Birds-of-a-Feather discussions, lightning talks, and a community groups fair.
Selected speakers are scheduled to be notified by 14 August 2026, and the session schedule is expected on 21 August 2026. Early-bird registration ends on 4 September 2026, followed by the regular registration deadline on 2 October 2026.
Accepted speakers will receive a US $25 discount on conference tickets. Speakers who add their Drupal.org profile link to their summit user profile may also be listed on the Drupal.org community event page, which allows the event to appear on their Drupal.org profile.
The summit was founded in 2009 and has rotated between Seattle, Portland, and Vancouver. Its history page says the event returned in 2024 after a five-year hiatus during and after the pandemic.
