Specbee Joins Drupal AI Initiative as Silver Partner
Drupal agency Specbee announced in a 31 August 2026 blog post that it had joined the Drupal AI Initiative partner programme. The agency now appears on Drupal's Certified Partners page as a Silver Partner. Specbee says the partnership extends its existing Drupal contribution into the project's coordinated AI work.
Drupal says participation goes beyond financial support, with partner organisations also committing dedicated staff to the initiative. Its sponsorship framework provides benefits including training access, roadmap influence, contribution credit, early information about releases and participation in an Early Access Program. The available sources do not state Specbee's individual financial commitment, staffing allocation or responsibility for a particular roadmap workstream, and no released capability is identified as a direct result of the new partnership.
Specbee says joining the initiative keeps its team closer to the Drupal AI roadmap and points to existing work with semantic search, content generation, editorial workflows and SmartLinker, its AI-assisted internal-linking tool for Drupal's CKEditor. Those projects are presented as examples of Specbee's existing AI work rather than as formal initiative deliverables. A 31 July 2026 Drupal AI Initiative update reported 32 partner organisations, more than 50 active contributors and more than $2.3 million in committed funding, while the current partner page says participating organisations collectively pledge more than 30 full-time staff to Drupal AI.
