‘Pitch-Burgh’ Innovation Contest to Happen Alongside DrupalCon Pittsburgh

Taking inspiration from American TV show ‘Shark Tank,’ Drupal takes a similar route to promote innovation and investment. Dries Buytaert, founder of Drupal made this announcement through his blog. The contest that will happen alongside DrupalCon Pittsburgh, and is fittingly named ‘Pitch-Burgh’.

Contestants will  submit a 2.5-minute video on or before 25 May, 2023 Ideas adjudged the best will be shared during Dries’ keynote address at the event. Digital agencies and end-users will be encouraged to contribute funds towards the most promising ideas, Dries says.

Apart from that, all submissions will be made public after DrupalCon Pittsburgh. Drupal Association will help guide the projects that receive investment. 

Judges are said to evaluate the potential impact of the idea and also the likelihood of its success. Contestants are recommended to ask for a funding within $20,000.Anyone from the Drupal community can send in submissions.
