Lauri Eskola to Become Drupal Core Product Manager

Lauri brings with him extensive experience in working with Drupal, spanning nearly 13 years. He has contributed significantly to the Drupal ecosystem as a subsystem maintainer of the theme system, Claro, and CKEditor 5. Since 2017, Lauri has held the positions of Frontend Framework Manager and Drupal Core Committer.
As a Core Product Manager, Lauri will play a crucial role in communicating with different types of Drupal users, collecting data on how Drupal is being utilized, and representing the interests of end users, including site builders and content authors. His primary focus will be on determining the core feature set and working towards enhancing Drupal's out-of-the-box experience.
Lauri's passion for driving user-facing improvements has grown over the years, leading to the decision to transition his role from being a Drupal Core Frontend Framework Manager to a Product Manager. In his new capacity, Lauri is eager to prioritize and support efforts to make Drupal an even more powerful tool for ambitious site builders.
