The DC Area Drupal Meetup Group has announced the relaunch of the Drupal Maryland and Drupal DC Meetups, alternating monthly between DC and Maryland. The first event is on August 1, 2024, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM EDT, at Launch Workplaces in Gaithersburg, Maryland, located at 9841 Washingtonian Blvd.

This inaugural event aims to reconnect the local Drupal community with an evening dedicated to networking and insightful presentations. Attendees can expect a series of lightning talks, each lasting 10 to 15 minutes, designed to inspire discussions among Drupal enthusiasts of all skill levels.

The event will feature John Doyle from Digital Polygon, who will demonstrate how the Gutenberg editor simplifies content management in Drupal. Additionally, Roland Benedetti from Pantheon will show how integrating Google Docs with Drupal can streamline content authoring and publishing.
