Alejandro Madrigal Leiva Releases First Official Version of SDC Styleguide

Alejandro Madrigal Leiva has announced the release of the first official version of the SDC Styleguide module for Drupal. This new tool is designed to help developers working with Single Directory Components (SDC) by providing an efficient interface for testing and showcasing components without needing to fully integrate them into a Drupal site.

The SDC Styleguide offers several key features, including automatic loading of all available components on a site, a dynamically generated explorer page for easy access to components, and the ability to create demos via Drush commands. Each component also comes with a form to test it on the fly by generating fields for defined properties and slots.

In addition, the module allows for demos to be embedded in templates or render arrays, and developers can reuse demos to create more complex examples. This functionality streamlines front-end development, making it easier for developers to build and test components independently.

The module is compatible with Drupal 10.1 and higher, and it requires Drush 12.5 or later for demo generation. Developers can explore the module by accessing the styleguide explorer page and are encouraged to contribute to its continued development. Find more details here.
