Droptica Introduces Open-Source Intranet System for Enterprise Collaboration
Grzegorz Bartman, Co-CEO of Droptica, has announced the development of a new open-source intranet system designed to enhance internal communication and collaboration within organizations. Leveraging over a decade of experience in building custom intranet solutions, Droptica has created a flexible and extensible platform based on Drupal and PHP, allowing seamless integration with existing enterprise systems.
The intranet system offers a range of features aimed at improving information sharing and engagement, including restricted-access news, event management, a centralized knowledge base, and an employee directory with profile management. Additional functionalities such as custom forms, AI-assisted content creation, interactive engagement tools like comments and likes, and a responsive design ensure accessibility across devices. Security and ease of use are further enhanced through integration with LDAP, Google, and Microsoft for seamless authentication.
As part of its rollout, Droptica invites 10 companies to participate in early testing, providing them with one year of free hosting or the option to self-host. Organizations interested in joining the testing phase can express their interest by commenting on the original LinkedIn post or reaching out to Grzegorz directly.
